At the first stage stop

The Raycer team pulled into the first stage stop at Crowder College in Neosho, Missouri just after 11:00 this morning. Unofficially we’re in sixth spot (one spot ahead of where we started), and are first among the Canadian cars.

According to the Weather Channel, Neosho is a sunny 85 degrees today, so all the teams will be able to get in some good battery charging time this afternoon.

  1. Looks like a great start. I especially liked the picture of a fabulous gourmet meal on a paper plate. Thanks to the whole team for representing the college so well, and a special thanks to our School of Business & Applied Arts men, Barry and Thomas. Talk about applied learning!!

No serious problems and you’ve gained a place already. Keep up the good work and try not to eat too much!

  3. Keep up the great work!

BTW, for those avid solar car fans amongst us, there is a great feed of all the team blogs at http://friendfeed.com/rooms/nasc-2008

Well done team. I have been checking in often and am excited and proud of your success so far and the way you are representing RRC. Are you letting Vic have any of that great food?

    “Enjoy” the expected sunshine tomorrow!

They can shut the street lights of in Banff I am beaming enough to light up the mountains. I have been bragging to the Americans I meet every morning in the B&B. Yesturday, one fellow was a retired Dean of Mechanical Engineering at a couple of big universities. He is currently living in Massachesetts and I got to tell him how you guys have already beat MIT! Definatly a highlite of my trip so far.
